This Intellectual Property (“IP”) Policy governs the use of all content, trademarks, and materials featured on the AFROCENTRIC™ Cultural Global Expo website and its associated programs.

1          Ownership of Content

All materials hosted on this website including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, video clips, and audio are the property of AFROCENTRIC™ Cultural Global Expo or its content suppliers. This includes specific branding and assets related to our core programs, such as:

  • AFROCENTRIC™ Global Music Festival
  • AFROCENTRIC™ Fashion Week
  • Miss AFROCENTRIC™
  • Custodians of African Heritage (Kings & Queens Award)
  • AFROCENTRIC™ Dance Your Culture
  • AFROCENTRIC™ University Intellectual Debate
  • AFROCENTRIC™ Soccer Tournament
  • AFROCENTRIC™ Cultural Carnival
  • AFROCENTRIC™ Food Festival

2          Trademark Protection

The name AFROCENTRIC™, our mission to unite Africa and the global diaspora, and our vision to transform culture into economic power are protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use of our trademarks, including the names of our specialized events like the AFROCENTRIC™ Soccer Tournament or the Custodians of African Heritage (Kings & Queens Award), is strictly prohibited.

3          Academic and Research Materials

Materials stemming from the AFROCENTRIC™ University Intellectual Debate and the creative solutions generated by academics, remain the intellectual property of the Expo and/or the contributing scholars as defined by specific participation agreements. These materials are intended to advance innovation and may not be reproduced without express written consent.

4          Limited Use License

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to access the website for personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

  • Modify, copy, or distribute materials for commercial purposes.
  • Use any AFROCENTRIC™ branding to imply an endorsement or partnership where none exists.
  • Extract culinary traditions, cultural storytelling, or live demonstration content from the AFROCENTRIC™ Food Festival for unauthorized publication.

5          Protection of Cultural Heritage

As an international platform dedicated to the undiluted heritage showcase of Africa, we take the misappropriation of cultural assets seriously. We aim to position African culture as a conduit for FDI and global image repositioning; therefore, all digital representations of African royalty, traditional dance forms, and regalia are protected to ensure they are used respectfully and legally.
